NL204153AC21-17 preliminary data sheet dod-pp-1266 (2nd edition) 4 1. outline 1.1 structure and principle color lcd module NL204153AC21-17 is composed of the amorphous silicon thin film transistor liquid crystal display (a-si tft lcd) panel structure with driver lsis for driving the tft (thin film transistor) array and a backlight. the a-si tft lcd panel structure is injected liquid crystal material into a narrow gap between the tft array glass substrate and a color-filter glass substrate. color data signals from a host system (e.g. signal generator, etc.) are modulated into best form for active matrix system by a signal processing board, and sent to the driver lsis which drive the individual tft arrays. the tft array as an electro-optical switch regulates the amount of transmitted light from the backlight assembly, when it is controlled by data signals. co lor images are created by regulating the amount of transmitted light through the tft array of red, green and blue dots. 1.2 application ? color monitor system 1.3 features ? ultra-wide viewing angle (adoption of ultra-advanced super fine tft (ua-sft)) ? wide color gamut ? high luminance ? high contrast ? low reflection ? 1,024 gray scale in each r, g, b sub-pixel (10-bit), 1,073,741,824 colors ? lvds interface ? selectable lvds data input map ? small foot print ? long life led backlight type with an led driver board

(shock: equal to or no greater than 294m/s 2 and equal to or no greater than 11ms, pressure: equal to or no greater than 19.6n ( 16mm jig)) ! 7.3 attentions 7.3.1 handling of the product take hold of both ends without touching the circuit board when the product (lcd module) is picked up from inner packing box to avoid broken down or misadjustment, because of stress to mounting parts on the circuit board. do not hook nor pull cables such as lamp cable, and so on, in order to avoid any damage. when the product is put on the table tempor arily, display surface must be placed downward. when handling the product, take the measures of el ectrostatic discharge with such as earth band, ionic shower and so on, because the product may be damaged by electrostatic. the torque for product mounting screws must never exceed 0.735n ? m. higher torque might result in distortion of the bezel. and the length of product mounting screws must be 5.0mm.
NL204153AC21-17 preliminary data sheet dod-pp-1266 (2nd edition) u the product must be installed using mounting holes without undue stress such as bends or twist (see outline drawings). and do not add undue stress to any portion (such as bezel flat area). bends or twist described above and undue stress to any portion may cause display mura. recommended installing method: ideal plane "a" is defined by one mounting hole (datum point) and other mounting holes. the ideal plane "a" should be the same plane within r 0.3 mm. product mounting hole ideal plane "a" m ounting hole ( d atu m point) mountin g hole v do not press or rub on the sensit ive product surfa ce. when c l ea ni ng the pro duc t surface, wipe it with a soft dry cl ot h. w do not push or pul l t h e inter f ace c o nnec tors while the pr oduct is worki ng. x when handli ng t h e product, use of an ori g inal pr otec ti on she e t on t h e pro duc t s u rface (polar iz er) i s recom m e nded for prote c ti on of product s u rface. adhe si ve type prot ec tion she e t m a y change c o l o r or chara c teris tics of t h e po lariz e r . y usually li quid crystals don' t leak t h rough the bre a kage of glasses be cause of the s u rface te nsi o n of thi n l a y e r an d the co nstru c ti on of lcd pa nel. bu t, if y o u co nt act wi th liq ui d cry s tal by any ch an c e , ple a se wash it away with s o ap a n d water . 7 . 3.2 en vi ro nmen t p d o n o t op erat e or s t ore i n h i gh t e m p eratu r e, h i g h hum idity , d e w d ro p atm o sphere o r corrosi ve ga ses. keep the produc t in packi n g box w i t h ant i sta tic p o u c h in ro o m tem p erature to av oi d dus ts an d sunl ig ht, w h e n st orin g t h e p r odu ct. q in order to pr eve n t dew c o nde nsat io n oc curred by tem p erat ure dif f er ence , t h e pro duc t p a c k in g bo x m u st be o p e n ed after e n o u g h tim e be in g lef t un der th e e nvir onm ent of a n un pa ck i n g room . eva l uat e the st orage t i m e suf f icie ntl y beca use de w conde n sat i o n is af fec t e d b y the e nvir o n m ental tem p erature and hum idity .
